Here we'll dive into the top 10 Macron kits of the season, exploring the inspirations behind them, and how they stand out both on the pitch and in the stands. Let's take a closer look at the best kits Macron has to offer for 2024/25.

10. West Bromwich Albion Away Kit

Kicking off the list of the Top 10 Macron Kits in tenth place is EFL Championship side West Bromwich Albion’s 2024/25 away kit. The Baggies have often wore yellow as their away colours and this year’s is no different. This season’s features a yellow base with thin navy blue stripes running vertically down the front. The sleeves are the same shade of navy and offer a nice contrast to the base of the shirt. There is a subtle pattern embossed on the sleeves made up of the club’s crest. The badge on the front of the shirt is in a navy monochrome. This kit is one of the best of the Championship this season and fans will be hoping it is a good omen for them in their quest for a return to the Premier League in 2025/26.

9. Levante Third Kit

Coming in ninth on the list is La Liga Segunda side Levante’s away kit for 2024/25. The Levante away colours this season consists of a grey/white base in a digital cubed pattern which adds texture to the design. The accents on the cuffs, buttoned collar and across the chest in a thick horizontal band are all in the club’s famous blue and burgundy home colours retaining a sense of identity. This is a clean and classy design from the Valencian club and Macron and with the club aiming for promotion back in to La Liga for the first time since being relegated in 2021/22, the fans will hope it is a shirt fondly remembered for both it’s design and the success of the team.

8. Real Sociedad Away Kit

Eighth place on our list goes to La Liga club Real Sociedad’s gold away kit for 2024/25. La Real will be hoping this is a kit that they can win some silverware wearing this season. The club and Macron have gone for a bold colourway never before seen on the club’s away kits. The kit features a gold base featuring a pattern based off the metal framework around the Anoeta Stadium. The collar, cuffs, badge and sponsor logos all contrast against the gold base in black finished off with horizontal black pinstripes across the front of the shirt. The kit comes with all black shorts and gold socks. This is a brave choice for a club that usually sticks with tradition but it is nice to see a colour not usually associated with the club being used.

7. Crystal Palace Third Kit

Premier League side Crystal Palace’s Third Kit for 2024/25 comes in seventh place and it’s a brilliant example of an away kit retaining a club’s identity and tradition. The kit has a black base with an embossed pattern featuring the Eagle from the club’s crest covering the shirt. The accents accompanying the base are in the club’s instantly recognisable red and blue from their home kits of past and present. The colours feature on a vertical abstract stripe that runs down the middle of the shirt in both blue and red, the crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs as well as the same abstract stripes running down the sleeves, one in red and one in blue. The kit is finished off with the sponsor logo, macron logo and club badge in crisp white creating a visually appealing look.

6. Blackburn Rovers Home Kit

Rovers come in in sixth place. Championship club Blackburn’s kits are beautiful in their simplicity but with that simplicity it sometimes means kit manufacturers try to stray away from what makes the kits good. They try to change too much and come away with a design that doesn’t seem right. Macron have hit the nail on the head with the 2024/25 Blackburn home kit. Retaining the club’s traditional half blue and half white design but adding subtle red detailing on the sleeves and collar. The collar itself is a classic blue polo with two white buttons and the sponsor logo is in red offering a contrast that fits perfectly with the base of the shirt. It’s a shirt that will age well and will look stylish forever. Don’t be surprised to see this shirt being worn by fans on the stands of Ewood Park for years to come.

5. U.C. Sampdoria Home Kit

In fifth place is Serie B side UD Sampdoria’s home kit. It is the fifth year that Macron have made Samp’s kits and for us this is the best one in the partnership so far. It features all the details you’d expect on a Sampdoria kit with the traditional blue base and horizontal band of white, red, and black stripes. The classic Saint George's shield remains at the centre of the band. This season, the shirt features a vintage inspired round collar into a v-neck with a white drawstring effect. The base of the shirt features subtle, embossed patterns inspired by Genoa's architecture. It is a quintessential Sampdoria kit but that is what makes it so good. The club will be hoping that this is the last season in Italy’s second division with the former Serie A champions hoping to return to former glories. At least they’ll look good doing it.

4. FC Basel Third Kit

Just missing out third place is FC Basel’s 2024/25 third kit. This classy design consists of a dark green base of black sleeves. However, looking closer and there is a lot more than meets the eye. The base of the shirt is covered in images of Basilisks, an image which is renowned all over the club’s city of Basel for the many statues and murals of the mythical creature within the city. The black collar is accented with two white pinstripes as is the sleeve cuffs. The sponsor logos and club badge are in contrast with the base in a crisp white colour. This is an inventive and bold design and one we dove into in detail on our previous blog post.

3. Wrexham AFC Third Kit

Bronze on the list of the 10 best Macron kits of the season goes to Hollywood’s Wrexham AFC. The Red Dragons have opted for a gold third kit for their League One campaign following promotion from League Two in 2023/24. The all gold kit is accented with an embossed pattern that adds texture to the design and by black details including the sponsor logo, Macron badge and the sleeve sponsor which compliment the gold colourway. The kit is finished off with black and gold cuffs as well as on the collar. Lastly, running down the shoulders are three vertical Macron logos ensuring maximum visibility for the manufacturers. Unfortunately it won’t be seen in the Racecourse Ground but at least the Robins will look good on their travels in their quest for Championship football next season.

2. Crystal Palace Home Kit

Pipped to the post in second place is Crystal Palace’s home kit for 2024/25. Their second entry in the Top 10, the Eagles are blessed with three brilliant kits this season but Macron have definitely saved the best for the home shirt. The kit’s base is bursting with texture and the Palace’s famous blue and red colour. The blue is made of a repeating pattern consisting of the club’s eagle overlapping. The red element of the design is in a spray paint effect which clashes nicely against the blue. The cuffs and collar are blue with red and white pinstripes adding an almost retro feel to the design and lastly, the sponsor logos and badge are in a crisp clean white. A nice subtle touch can be seen on the inside collar which reads ‘ SOUTH LONDON AND PROUD’ which will resonate with the fans of the Selhurst Park club.

  1. FC Basel Home Kit

And the winner of the Top 10 Macron Kits of the 2024/25 Season is FC Basel’s home kit. This also the second entry for the Swiss Super League side and they have been blessed with three excellent designs by Macron this season with the white away kit just missing out on the Top 10. The home kit this season is a bold and brave design that’s never been seen before on the club’s shirts which are usually a half and half design. The blue base is accompanied by red in a flame effect that run down from the top of the shirt and run up from the bottom with gold outlines, ensuring all of the club colours from the badge are represented on the kit. Finishing off the kit is a stylish buttoned black collar with two red pinstripes with the same design on the sleeve cuffs. With such a bold choice by the St Jakob’s Park club and Macron and the ability to pull it off it is only fair that we award it as the best Macron kit of 2024/25.
